We are a USDA approved facility to receive restricted animals and byproducts
Please contact Cedar River Taxidermy so we can make some personalized shipping tags. These tags will have your name, address, along with Cedar River Taxidermy, and International Freight Systems info. You will attach these tags to the skins and the skull and horns or antlers of your animals. We suggest you contact International Freight Systems before and after your return so as to have all the paperwork in order for your trophies. They have agents around the globe that will monitor the progress of your trophy’s and arrange shipment to our studio.

1) Be sure your animals are properly preserved or taken taken care of!!( Please contact us for info.) Also be aware of the State of Washington’s requirements of the Chronic Wasting Disease for importing deer, elk, moose, from those states and provinces that are infected with the disease. There is a list of states and provinces and the requirements to bring those animals back into the State of Washington in our Washington Big game Hunting Seasons & Regulations pamphlet.
2) Wrap the salted skin in cloth or burlap, NO PLASTIC as this may cause hair slippage and rotting of skin.
3) Please enclose a letter in the package with; Your Name, Address, Phone number, Email, and License and Tag Numbers from state hunted in. Proper license and tags are required on all items brought into Cedar River taxidermy. Comply with all game laws and federal regulations.

4) Make sure our name and address along with your name and return address appear on the outside of the package. If the contents are perishable or need immediate attention, please mark the package accordingly.
